T.I.

By releasing ”The King of South” or also ”Rubber band Man” as well as the same-titled single, his fame was preprogrammed. Over a long period T.I.P (T.I.) has to support his family by dealing with drugs.

His original stage name, T.I.P., it stems from his childhood nickname "Tip", given by his grandfather. He later changed it to T.I. out of respect for label mate Q-Tip.
His album, Trap Muzik (900.000 sold copy’s) and "Urban Legend” one year later (over 1 billion copy’s)” brought the decisive turn. As the Co-CEO of Grand Hustle Records he released the soundtrack of "Hustle &Flow" with the pre-priced Oscar three 6 mafia-track "It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp”.

Numerously, film reels („American Gangster” alongside Denzel Washington), his own label and stresses with the justice didn’t allured him from his ambition, the crown of the south! T.I. has been active with helping the community especially with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and T.I. worked with troubled youths at Paulding Detention Center in Atlanta.
In face of trendy singles with for instants Rihanna, he got the balancing act between commerce and hood-credibility.
