T-PAIN
Faheem Najm was in born in Tallahassee, Florida in 1985. He chose to follow the path of music early and founded the band Nappy Heads, after he had finished school. In 2003 he sparked debates because of Akon’s ''Locked Up”. Akon, however, was excited and decided to endeavor to get T-Pain signed (with Jive Imprin).
Akon obtained guest appearances for T-Pain in several well-known rapper’s songs, and he was also represented on T-Pain's solo album. The first single ''I'm Sprung' was a success. T-Pain is known for his distorted voice by using a vocoder. Also the second album suggests great waves. The tracks "Buy U A Drank" and "Bartender" were played in a constant rotation in every good club around the globe. "Buy U A Drank" hit the No. 1 spot in the US-Charts. T-Pain, at the time was the new big thing on the market and everyone wanted to collaborate with him. He has worked with Kanye West, finished the raps of Rick Ross, Fabolous, Birdman & Lil Wayne and the song of R. Kelly and Chris Brown.
