Redman
Reggie Noble from Newark/New Jersey first appeared on the screen in 1991 when EPMD featured him on some tracks. Some time later Def Jam offered him a deal. Around that time he released his first album "Whut? Thee Album" and the smoking funky Redman sound was born.
Some years later he founded the crew Def Squad (Redman, Eric Sermon, Keith Murray, Jamal). In 1996 "Muddy Waters" had been released which was his first commercial success with 500,000 sold units.
On the track "How High" the Funk Docta and Mr Meth showed their good vibe and their great team play for the first time. Later they released "Blackout" and "Blackout 2" together and established themselves as Hip-hop ultimate Rap duo.
