Ludacris
Ludacris began rapping at 9 years. Before becoming a serious rapper, he worked as an intern (and eventually DJ) for Hot 97.5 (now 107.9) FM in Atlanta.
He brought out his first LP ,,Incognero“ by his own means and it directly sold 30.000 copies.
Def Jam South was so impressed that they soon offered Luda a contract. He published his official debut “Back For The First Time” which was certified 3x platinum. The disk sold more than 2 million copies and the youngster Cris from Illinois shot to stardom and eventually into a rap-superstar.
After his famous 2. album included the club-hymn “Move Bitch” feat. Mystikal, Ludacris was roped into the movie business. He acted in blockbusters like “2Fast 2 Furious” , “Lil Pimp”. “L.A. Crash” and “Hustle and Flow”.
2004 he topped the charts in the USA, Great Britain and Germany alike with “Yeah“ . The southern rapper’s wish got fulfilled when his album “Release Therapy” hit the No. 1 spot in the US-Charts.
