"Laughing My F*ckin Ass Off" consists of the two rappers named Redfoo (Stefan Gordy) and Sky Blu (Skyler Gordy) and is an Electro-Hop group from L.A, California. Both are related to legendary Motown founder Berry Gordy.
Stefan and Skyler describe their type of music as "Party Rock". Their music is “just supposed to be about having a good time”.
They first received international attention with the release of their debut EP "The Party Rock EP" of 2008 which featured the song "I'm In Miami B*tch", which was later on remixed by David Guetta. The song was inspired by overall excitement about the Winter Music Conference (WMC) that was being held in Miami in 2006.
In July 2009 LMFAO released their debut album, "Party Rock". The ultimate international breakthrough came in 2010 when LMFAO were featured, along with Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas”, in David Guetta's "Gettin' over You" and their album "Sorry for Party Rockin". Both, “Gettin over You” and the album were massively successful and a “must” on every dance floor. The first single off the album “Party Rock Anthem” earned the group No. 1, simultaneously in the US Charts, in the UK as well as in over 10 more countries and top 10 in even more countries. The 3rd single release “Sexy and I Know It” peaked at No. 1 on the international iTunes charts as well as topped the Australian and Canadian charts alike.
Ever since, LMFAO has collaborated with several notable musicians such as Lady Gaga, Kanye West, the black Eyed Peas, David Guetta and many more.
