Lil' Jon DJ-Set
Many people only know Lil' Jon as the "King of Crunk" - Truth is that Lil' Jon started out as a DJ at the popular Club Phoenix in Atlanta, Georgia. His exuberant personality and awesome ability to entertain the masses didn't stay unrecognized for long. Soon Jermaine Dupri hired Lil' Jon to work at his label SoSo Def. Around the same time Jon also hosted a reggae show on a famous radio station. All this enabled him to start producing for up-coming musicians such as Usher.
In the mid 90's he had established a solid career as a club DJ and a producer. When spinning records, his specialty has always been House music and Crunk'n'B. In the days when House was gaining growing popularity in Chicago, Lil' Jon was one of the pioneer DJs that beganproducing and playing House remixes in clubs. His biggest Crunk'n'B production to date is the song "Yeah", which jon produced for Usher. It exploded on the worldwide charts and ultimately catapulted Lil' Jon to the Olymp of top producers and Djs in the world.
