Estelle
The singer, rapper, songwriter and producer Fanta Estelle Swaray was born in London In 1980. She grows up as one of eight siblings in a religious family. Early pave her caribbean father and the senegalese mother Estelle's musical path. Because oh the religious parents, gospel music is everywehre and so she soon blossomed to exceptional singer.
In an open mic session, she finally won a place on the stage. The foundation for a successful career is thus defined.Countless gigs with local musicians such as Rodney P and Black Twang followed. For three consecutive years she won the UK Hip Hop Award.A short time later, she founded her own label, Stellar Ents.
After two mix tape releases she began to work on her debut album, for which she signed a contract a record deal with V2 Records.Already the first single reached the Top 15 on the UK Charts. After winning the MOBO Award and touring through the world with Wyclef Jean, she eventually was signed by John Legend's label, Homeschool Records.
Her most successful single to date is "American Boy", in which Estelle collaborated with Kanye West. Soon after, collaborations with Will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, Mark Ronson, Cee-Lo Green and Jack Splash followed.
The British superstar announced via Twitter that ner 3. album titled "All of Me", shall be released on February 28, 2012. It will feature the single "Thank You".
